Kiosk offers a powerful solution with its Abandoned Cart Template, making it easy to automate follow-up messages and re-engage potential customers. Ready to dive in? Let's get started!

Step 1: Connect your Shopify store

First things first, you'll need to connect your Shopify store to Kiosk. Don’t worry, This process is quick and easy.

  • Go to the Integrations section in Kiosk.

  • Locate the Shopify card within the Integrations page.

  • Click the "Connect" button on the Shopify card.

  • Enter your Shopify store domain:

    • Input your Shopify store domain (e.g., "myshop.myshopify.com").

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection process.

Once your store is connected, you’re ready to roll with the Abandoned Cart Template!

Step 2: Using the Abandoned cart Template

  • Go to the Automations section in Kiosk.

  • Choose the Abandoned Cart Template. This action will duplicate the automation setup and prepare everything you need.

Customizing the Template

Time to make it your own! Personalize the template to match your brand’s style and voice.

  1. Modify content:

    • Adjust the messaging to match your brand’s tone of voice.

    • Ensure the language and style are consistent with your other communications.

  2. Personalize media:

    • Upload images or videos that reflect your brand identity.

    • Use high-quality visuals to engage your customers.

  3. Adjust delay time:

    • Fine-tune the delay before the abandoned cart message is sent to optimize engagement. For example, you might want to send a reminder 1 hour after abandonment to prompt quick action.

Use of variables

When using variables, especially for external links, it’s crucial to ensure that the URL of the checkout initiating the flow is correctly mapped. Here’s how you can make sure everything is set up properly:

Step 3: Verify & Activating the Flow

Once you are satisfied with the setup and customization, it’s time to activate the flow.

  • Review Your Setup:

    • Double-check all the content and settings to ensure everything is in place by scanning the qr code.

  • Activate the Automation:

    • Don't forget to click the "Activate" button to start the abandoned cart flow.
